In 1984, Anna Domino released the five-track mini-album East And West on Les Disques du Crépuscule, the Belgian indie label that often collaborated with Tony Wilson’s renowned Factory Records. The Tokyo-born artist was living in downtown New York and communicating the aura of the neighborhood through swimmy avant-pop daydreams. Now, East And West is getting a reissue from, appropriately, Domino.
