Bruce Springsteen has been opening his shows with a prayer. He and the E Street Band walk onstage quietly. He steps to the mic as they atmospherically play behind him. Before a single song is performed he simply speaks to the audience. “We begin the night with a prayer for our men and women in service overseas. We pray for an end to this conflict and for their safe return,” he begins, opening with a sentiment most anyone should be able to agree with. It continues: “The E Street Band is here tonight in celebration and defense of the American ideals and values that have sustained our country for 250 years. We are here to call upon the righteous power of art and music and rock ‘n’ roll in these dangerous times.” Then, he gets a little more pointed:

In recent years, FKA twigs has been taking more and more movie roles, playing supporting parts in films like The Carpenter’s Son and the rebooted version of The Crow. Just last month, twigs was onscreen in David Lowery’s pop-star thriller Mother Mary, and she also wrote songs for its soundtrack. Now, twigs has taken on her first lead role, playing the Jazz Age star Josephine Baker in an upcoming biopic.

On January 30, 1969, the Beatles played their last-ever gig on the roof of the Apple Corps building at 3 Savile Row in London; nearly 60 years later, that space will become the band’s first-ever official museum. The Beatles At 3 Savile Row is set to open to the public in 2027, giving fans seven floors worth of never-before-seen material from the Apple Corps archives, along with rotating exhibitions, a fan store, and a replica of the original studio where the Beatles recorded Let It Be. The Lambs are fighting. Well, maybe not fighting, but there is a big mix-up happening. Lamb, ’90s trip-hop duo Andy Barlow and Lou Rhodes, are getting confused with Lamb, the moniker of rising electro-pop artist from Long Beach who has co-signs from Drake and SZA. The latter, whose recent single “Overkill” has gone viral, recently announced a new EP that’s coming at the end of the month, along with a tour. But the tour announcement has got people confused. Even Live Nation mentioned the wrong Lamb on socials for the tour announcement.

Icons Debbie Harry and Pamela Anderson will be starring in a new movie called Maitreya, Deadline reported. In the new age comedy produced by Caviar, Anderson plays Maitreya who’s a rising influence in the new age healing community. She’s preparing to head to India for a conference when she gets news from her estranged sister that their father is dying. Maitreya invites the entire family to the conference to “put her New Age healing theories to the test (all while surreptitiously gathering material for her next book).”
