Dua Lipa is having a fun time doing a bunch of covers on tour. Over in Australia and New Zealand, she’s been paying homage to local artists including AC/DC, Natalie Imbruglia, Kylie Minogue, and INXS by singing their songs over the past couple of weeks. Last Wednesday in Auckland, she did Lorde’s “Royals,” and on Friday at another Auckland show, she did Crowded House’s “Don’t Dream It’s Over” with the band’s own Neil Finn.
On Friday (Apr. 4), Momma released our Album Of The Week, Welcome To My Blue Sky. The indie rock crew also brought it to New York City for a surprise release show.
Chicago heavy noise-rock band Meth. have been kicked off of their tour with British extreme metal outfit Dragged Into Sunlight. In a statement, Meth. explained they were removed from the lineup “purely on the basis our last album being released by Prosthetic Records, who they don’t like.”
It was reported in August that Nine Inch Nails were scoring Disney’s next TRON sequel, which stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Jeff Bridges, Evan Peters, and more. Today the first trailer was shared online following its debut at CinemaCon.
Tracy Chapman doesn’t often do interviews, but on Friday (Apr. 4) The New York Times published a conversation with the legendary musician as a new reissue of her self-titled debut was released by Rhino. She spoke about her qualms with streaming, and even gave shoutouts to Chappell Roan and Charli XCX.

Experimental pop/rock/electronic/hip-hop artists Frost Children (from New York) and Haru Nemuri (from Tokyo) released their collaborative EP Soul Kiss last fall on True Panther, the record label that puts out Frost Children’s music. In the months since the EP’s release, things have not gone well between the Frost Children and Nemuri camps, and this week that conflict is spilling into the public eye.
Rachel Chinouriri has done a lot within the last year. The London alt-pop singer released her excellent debut album What A Devastating Turn Of Events, flipped Fontaines D.C.’s standout hit on its head, and — after dropping off Remi Wolf’s US tour dates last August for financial reasons — is now touring with the reigning queen of Betty Boop pop Sabrina Carpenter.

He even dropped three singles on a Sunday once!
