Hurry – “Moving After You” (Feat. Teenage Fanclub’s Gerard Love)

We can always count on Hurry for some wistful, jangly goodness, and the Philly power-pop combo learned many of their most powerful tracks from genre champions Teenage Fanclub. So it’s quite pleasant to hear Teenage Fanclub’s Gerard Love pop up on the latest single from Hurry’s Zoned Out. Hurry announced the album last month and…

M.I.A. Sues Kid Cudi For Kicking Her Off Tour

Earlier this month, M.I.A. was removed from Kid Cudi’s Rebel Ragers tour after reportedly delivering a series of politically charged onstage comments. She’s now suing Cudi for ousting her from the tour. The 33-date tour was expected to pay her $2.8 million, and her contract allegedly granted her full creative control over her set. On Friday, May 29, M.I.A. filed a complaint in a California federal court claiming she was dismissed as part of a publicity stunt for a tour struggling with ticket sales.

Peter Gabriel’s lunar journey continues. He’s been tweaking the self-described “quirky”…

Backrooms End Credits Song Is From Boards Of Canada’s New Album

On Friday, IDM legends Boards of Canada released Inferno, their first album in more than 13 years. The same day also marked the release of the highly anticipated A24 feature Backrooms, adapted from the viral YouTube series that was born from a 4chan meme inspired by a haunted yellow-walled room. As it turns out, the two projects share more than just a release date: “The World Becomes Flesh,” a track from Inferno, plays during the film’s end credits.

Donald Trump Slams “Third Rate” Freedom 250 Dropouts, Proposes DC Rally For Patriots Instead

So far, Morris Day And The Time, Young MC, Martina McBride, Bret Michaels, and the Commodores have all dropped off the lineup for Donald Trump’s Freedom 250 concert series called the Great American State Fair, which is (was?) slated for this summer at the National Mall. Now Trump has reacted to the controversy on his weird-ass Truth Social platform, complaining about the “third rate ‘artists'” who pulled out of the bill.
