Earlier this year, the ultra-raunchy St. Louis rap star Sexyy Red teamed up with a resurgent Bruno Mars for the single “Fat Juicy & Wet,” and I wrote that the song was “about to be so huge.” Well, I was wrong. “Fat Juicy & Wet” made a half-decent chart showing, debuting at #17, but it didn’t do anywhere near as well as Mars’ recent songs with Lady Gaga and ROSÉ. I also thought “Fat Juicy & Wet” was really fun, but it mostly seemed to make most of my esteemed critical peers uncomfortable. Fair enough! Don’t listen to me! Now, Sexyy Red follows that single with a new one called “Hoochie Coochie.” No Bruno Mars this time.

Jane Remover’s anticipated new album Revengeseekerz has been “coming very soon” since she announced the follow-up to 2023’s Census Designated with lead single “JRJRJR” at the beginning of the year. She also dropped another single “Dancing With Your Eyes Closed” in February, along with a completely different album for a completely different project, Venturing. An official release date was never given for Revengeseekerz, but (surprise!) it’s today.

Last year, the Marías released Submarine, which we named our Album Of The Week. Today, the group is back with the new single “Back To Me” and its b-side “Nobody New.”

Haim have been teasing the follow-up to their 2021 Grammy-nominated album Women In Music Pt. III. The trio shared the song “Relationships” last month, and now they’re back with “Everybody’s Trying To Figure Me Out.”

PinkPantheress kicked off the year with “True Religion,” a collaboration with Shygirl and Isabella Lovestory for Shygirl’s Club Shy Room 2 EP. Today, she’s sharing her first solo song of 2025 with “Tonight,” which samples Panic! At The Disco’s “Do You Know What I’m Seeing?” from their 2008 album Pretty. Odd.

In January, Frànçois And The Atlas Mountains released their new album Âge Fleuve. Today, the French-British pop band is back with a new version of the track “Le Fil” that features Cassandra Jenkins singing in French.

Last year, Air celebrated 25 years of Moon Safari with a deluxe reissue and an anniversary tour. Now, the French duo is announcing a remix of the album by British producer and electronic artist Vegyn for Record Store Day.

Godsmack have announced the departure of guitarist Tony Rombola and drummer Shannon Larkin. The band shared a statement today following speculation due to their tour that kicked off last month, which has Sam Bam Koltun of Doroth and Faster Pussycat on guitar and Will Hunt of Evanescence on drums.

Stereolab’s last studio album was 2010’s Not Music, which was followed by their hiatus. The beloved Anglo-French band reunited in 2019 for tours and reissues, and now they’re finally teasing new music.
