You may have heard about certain notable music-related locales making their way to Airbnb, from ex-Beatle Pete Best’s family home to the American Football house. But Airbnb also occasionally teams up with musicians to offer specially-curated “Experiences,” like a swanky stay at Prince’s Minneapolis house from the Purple Rain movie. Now, Megan Thee Stallion is joining in, serving as the face of their new Otaku Hottie quest.

Cassie Testifies In Sean Combs Sex Trafficking Case

The flood of allegations, lawsuits, and criminal charges against Sean “Diddy” Combs began with a 2023 lawsuit by Cassie Ventura, Combs’ former girlfriend and a recording artist for his Bad Boy record label under the mononym Cassie. The lawsuit was quickly settled, but it set off a series of similar lawsuits and an FBI investigation that led to charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution against the music and fashion mogul. Disturbing footage of Combs physically abusing Ventura at the Intercontinental Los Angeles Century City in 2016 also emerged a year ago, sparking a statement from Ventura urging the public to believe and support victims of violence. Tuesday, she testified against Combs in federal court.

Yusuf/Cat Stevens Announces Memoir Cat On The Road To Findout

Cat Stevens is the latest musician to get into the memoir business. Today he’s announced his book Cat On The Road To Findout, set to arrive in the US this October. It’ll document the British singer-songwriter’s life through his upbringing by immigrant parents in London, his extensive humanitarian efforts, his prolific and ever-evolving music career, and the multiple near-death experiences that greatly affected his spirituality, including a name change to Yusuf Islam. Madonna Series In The Works At Netflix, Unrelated To Biopic

The last time we checked in on Madonna, even she seemed unsure about the fate of her long-delayed biopic. After a highly competitive (and highly publicized) audition process that eventually landed on Julia Garner as its star, the film was scrapped in 2023, though the Queen Of Pop maintained some interest in adapting her life story to a screen. Last fall, she asked fans on Instagram: “Should I make the story of my life into a series or a feature film?” At least for now, she’s going with the former option.
