Stream nate sib’s Fun New EP for us

Earlier this year, 2hollis shared the awesome, accurately titled album star, which is threatening to turn him into the American equivalent of cult-followed Swedish rap icon Bladee. The 21-year-old is a frequent collaborator of nate sib (their song “afraid” is a certified banger), who unveiled the new EP for us on Friday (May 16).

Dana And Alden – “Don’t Run Away”

Dana And Alden are a spunky musical duo from Eugene, Oregon that make disarmingly sweet (earnest even?) jazz psychedelia. (Some might recognize Alden from his account Gucci_Pineapple.) Today, they’ve shared that they’re releasing a new album Speedo next month via Concord Jazz. They made the announcement with the project’s first single “Don’t Run Away,” accompanied with a video filmed in London by Alden and Nick Liden that features UK social media personalities MrBruv and Faye.

Jazmine Mary – “My Brilliance” & “Memphis”

Jim Tannock

Although they’re a neo-folk musician, Jazmine Mary might be shifting gears on their third album I Want To Rock And Roll, which is out June 13 via Flying Nun Records. But there’s no indication of glam rocking or KISS influences in the singles we’ve heard from the follow-up to 2023’s Dog and 2021 The Licking Of A Tangerine. Last month the Gippsland, Australia musician shared the bluesy, synth-steered single “Memphis,” and today, we get another one titled “My Brilliance.”

S.G. Goodman – “Snapping Turtle”

Ryan Hartley

S.G. Goodman’s evocative storytelling skills are on display on her amazing new single “Snapping Turtle,” which begins with a scene of kids beating a turtle with a stick. “So I asked if I could take a lick/ When I raised my hand I brought down the wrath of god himself/ Beat those kids till they were crying out for help/ I couldn’t help myself/ Then threw the turtle in the truck,” she sings. Goddamn.
