Sly & Robbie’s Sly Dunbar Dead At 73

Sly Dunbar, the incredibly prolific Jamaican drummer who was one half of the legendary reggae rhythm section and production duo Sly & Robbie, has passed away. According to DancehallMag, Dunbar passed away this morning. Dunbar had reportedly been suffering from health issues for the past decade, though no cause of death has been reported. He was 73.

Watch Geese Make Their SNL Debut

It happened: Geese performed on SNL for the first time last night, a month after frontman Cameron Winter was parodied on the show. The Brooklyn rock band — which along with Winter includes drummer Max Bassin, guitarist Emily Green, bassist Dominic DiGesu, and touring keyboardist Sam Revaz — performed “Au Pays Du Cocaine” and “Trinidad” from their album Getting Killed, the Best Album Of 2025.

Yungblud Apologizes For Photo With Rammstein Frontman

Earlier this month, Yungblud went viral for speaking up for Iranian women’s rights. The English rock musician is known for advocacy, and fans were recently disappointed to see a photo of him posing with Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann, who has sexual misconduct allegations. Today, he acknowledged the backlash, saying he “had no idea” about the accusations.

In October, Donald Trump joined Republicans in whining about Bad Bunny being announced as the performer for the Super Bowl Halftime Show. “I never heard of him. I don’t know who he is. I don’t know why they’re doing it. It’s, like, crazy. And then they blame it on some promoter that they hired to pick up entertainment. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous,” he said. Earlier this week, Green Day were revealed as the performers for the Super Bowl Opening Ceremony, and Trump reacted today to The Post in an exclusive Oval Office interview.

Last year, Denzel Curry hopped on a remix of Fred again..’s “Victory Lap,” which featured Skepta and PlaqueBoyMax. Last night at New York’s East End Studios, the DJ brought out the Miami rapper to perform his 2015 hit “Ultimate.” It was the third show out of six for Fred again..’s USB002 campaign; previously he was joined by Romy to cover her music and the xx. Ben Gibbard Covers Morrissey With Smiths Tribute Band At SF Sketchfest

At SF Sketch Fest this week, members of the ’90s comedy troupe the State staged several concerts to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their cult film Wet Hot American Summer. The cover band Middle Aged Dad Jam Band — which features Ken Marino on vocals, David Wain on drums, and often Shudder To Think’s Craig Wedren (who wrote music for both the movie and MTV’s The State sketch comedy series) on guitar — played San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall with appearances from castmates Joe Lo Truglio and Michael Ian Black, Janeane Garofalo, and Marguerite Moreau. The following night TMADJB did a second set featuring all Billy Joel covers with some of the same guests, plus the State’s Thomas Lennon. Here are a bunch of videos:
