Perhaps you’ve heard that there’s a new Rosalía album coming soon. Last week the Catalan art-pop artist announced that her new album LUX, the follow-up to 2022’s Motomami, would be arriving on November 7. An album rollout that short doesn’t usually necessitate any advance singles, but we’re getting one nonetheless: “Berghain,” which features Björk and Yves Tumor, is out now.

Jack DeJohnette, the widely praised jazz drummer best known for his work on Miles Davis’ fusion records, has died. A press representative for ECM Records confirmed the news to the Guardian, while DeJohnette’s personal assistant added that he died from congestive heart failure. He was 83.

American Football’s debut LP turned 25 last year, and the celebratory festivities just keep on coming. Last night, Vans threw a party at 704 W. The emo trio Jejune started at Boston’s Berklee College Of Music in the late ’90s, and they relocated to San Diego and released two charged, twinkly records in the late ’90s before breaking up in 2000. Now, the band has announced a brief run of reunion shows, set for next February in Japan.

Neil Young’s annual Harvest Moon benefit concert went down yesterday in Lake Hughes, CA, with proceeds going towards the Bridge School and Painted Turtle Camp. Young (backed by the Chrome Hearts) headlined as usual, and Lana Del Rey went on right before him. She opened her set with a tribute to the man of the evening, doing a cover of “The Needle And The Damage Done,” from his 1972 classic Harvest.
