Rubber Band Gun & Joey Joesph Announce New Collab Album ROAM BABY ROAM: Hear “The Longest Party”

Kevin Basko, the prolific Philly musician who records as Rubber Band Gun, is teaming up with Cincinnati’s own Joey Joesph (not, not Joseph) for a whole album of collaborative tracks. It’s called ROAM BABY ROAM, and although we don’t yet know when it will see release, we do get to hear the lead single on…

Fucked Up Release Year Of The Goat A Week Early

Since 2006, the singular Toronto rock ‘n’ roll institution Fucked Up have been releasing a series of long, sprawling, ambitious records named after years of the Chinese Zodiac calendar. Over the next year, they will finally complete that project, releasing the three final Zodiac records as an ongoing series that’ll eventually make up a five-LP…

Jawnino & Surf Gang Share Collaborative Project amnesia

The London underground rapper Jawnino has an understated magnetism, and he’s drawn to refracted, club-adjacent beats that fit his voice beautifully. Jawnino’s True Panther debut 40 came out last year, and he’s one of our favorite new artists of 2025. Now, he’s released a new collaborative project with the New York production collective Surf Gang.…

Knifeplay Cover “Silent Night” In Latest Update To For The Holidays

It’s one of my favorite traditions: Every December, Knifeplay — those Philadelphia-based practitioners of slow-burn sonic splendor — re-release their Christmas EP on Bandcamp with one new song added, then it disappears from the internet again when the holiday season wraps up, like a trio of ghosts that visited you in the night. They’ve done…

Pretty Sick – “Star”

NYC multi-instrumentalist Sabrina Fuentes releases simmering, gritty pop music as Pretty Sick. Today, she returns with her first new single in over a year. “Star” features production from Oscar Scheller, and it comes with an entrancing video. “Star” has some pretty searing lyrics, including “Painless god I love being so famous” and “You’re a star…

Jane Remover – “So What?” & “Music Baby”

2025 has been a big year for maximalist future-music shapeshifter Jane Remover. They released her opus Revengeseekerz, which landed them on our lists of the best albums and tracks of the year. They also dropped Ghostholding, an LP from their Venturing alter-ego. they released and then deleted a mixtape called Indie Rock. They collaborated with…

Lily Allen Announces West End Girl North American Tour

Lily Allen appeared out of nowhere in October with her first album in seven years, West End Girl, a conceptual narrative pop song cycle that goes into brutal detail about the end of her marriage to actor David Harbour. She’s since announced a tour of the UK and been confirmed for SNL, and this week she released the album on a USB drive shaped like a butt plug. Now she’s revealed plans to bring West End Girl to North America in a more extensive way.
