In 2023, rumors spread about a potential Beyoncé residency at the Sphere. That obviously didn’t happen, and reports claimed negotiations ended after MSG refused her request for the Sphere to close for two weeks so she could rehearse. The singer embarked on her Cowboy Carter Tour earlier this week, and she’s been hit with a cease-and-desist from the Sphere for jokey stage visuals involving the Las Vegas venue.

After bringing his Fighting Oligarchy Tour to Philadelphia on May Day, Bernie Sanders continued through Pennsylvania today with a stop at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in Harrisburg with Congressman Chris Deluzio. As has often been the case where Sanders is concerned, the rally was opened up by some punk and indie rock favorites. This time Marissa Paternoster of Screaming Females kicked things off, followed by Pennsylvania legend Alex G.

Last month, TV On The Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe released his debut solo album Thee Black Boltz, which featured the singles “Drop,” “Magnetic,” “God Knows,” and “Somebody New.” Last night, the multi-hyphenate artist took the live performance of the latter to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with a special guest.

Santa Ana, CA group Pop Free announced they’re signing to Chicago’s New Morality Zine. They’re going to be releasing a new EP titled Spring in a couple weeks. The first glimpse we get is with the ripping single “Mirror.”

Earlier this week, Flume and JPEGMAFIA announced their collab EP, annoyingly titled We Live In A Society, after releasing an animated video for “Track 1.” The producer and rapper unveiled “AI Girlfriend” with a video tonight, and now the entire EP is out.

Last month, the Cure announced Mixes Of A Lost World, a remix album for last year’s Songs Of A Lost World. The first previews were Four Tet’s remix of “Alone” and Paul Oakenfold’s remix of “I Can Never Say Goodbye.” Now, we get to hear Deftones’ Chino Moreno remixing “Warsong.”
