Morgan Wallen Tosses Security Guard’s Phone In Pittsburgh, Cancels Second Show

The famously irascible Morgan Wallen has been making headlines for his low temper as of late. Last week, he went viral for flipping a piano in Denver, though it was technically a piano shell containing a Nord keyboard. On Friday (June 5), the controversial country star played Pittsburgh and went viral for snatching a phone from a security guard’s hands and throwing it across the stage.

Ariana Grande Kicks Off Eternal Sunshine Tour With Numerous Live Debuts

Though Ariana Grande just launched her new era with the petal lead single “hate that i made you love me,” she never brought her 2024 album eternal sunshine to stages. It’s been six and a half years since her last tour, during which Wicked took up most of her schedule. Last night in Oakland she made up for lost time with lots of live debuts.

The Cure Break Out Live Rarities At Primavera Sound 2026

Last night the Cure headlined Primavera Sound 2026 at Barcelona’s Parc Del Forum. It was the band’s first performance since their intimate November 2024 show at London’s Troxy celebrating the release of Songs Of A Lost World. That album, one of the best of that year, was the Cure’s first UK #1 in 32 years and earned them their first Grammys. On the Estrella Damm Stage, the Cure played only two tracks from SOALW, though — the rest of the setlist spanned nearly five decades of classics, including cuts they hadn’t performed in several years.

And now we get a whole new Osees LP too.

she’s green – “Close Your Eyes”

The dreamy Minneapolis rockers she’s green just played the New York version of the shoegaze fest Slide Away, and they’re getting ready to release their new EP Swallowtail. We’ve already posted the early tracks “Mettle” and “Paper Thin,” and now they’ve shared the gauzy, expansive seven-minute song “Close Your Eyes.” This one is all chiming, sighing textures, and I can really get lost in it. Here’s what bandleader Zofia Smith says about it:

Mastodon Play “Your Ghost Again” Live For The First Time, Dedicating It Brent Hinds

Last year, longtime Mastodon member Brent Hinds died in a sudden and tragic motorcycle accident, just a few months after he split with the band in acrimonious fashion. On Tuesday, Mastodon shared “Your Ghost Again,” a colossal new song about the losses of both Hinds and drummer Brann Dailor’s mother. On Wednesday, they played it live for the first time.
