The Gansett Games is an annual field day in Amagansett, NY hosted by billionaire crypto investor Mike Novogratz. The event was shouted out in T-shirt form on an episode of Billions back in 2022. She’ll be dropping her new album Twin Star Fantasy this fall, and as today’s single “Sugar In My Drink” demonstrates, you’d be wise to pay attention. The song’s blend of misty synths, kinetic breakbeats, and breathy, holographic vocals is a bit like ear crossed with early Grimes — a chilly endorphin rush ideal for sipping some ice water while fending off the sweltering temperatures enveloping the United States right now.
