Lizzo is doing her best. Following an underwhelming performance of her latest album Bitch, which did not chart at all on the Billboard 200 despite its predecessor Special debuting at #2 with 69,000 album-equivalent units, the “About Damn Time” singer is making the best of a disappointing situation. In a new interview — the first episode of Zachary Hourihane aka the Swiftologist’s new podcast Proto Pop — she dives into how she’s doing following Bitch‘s release and the world perceiving her as a flop.

Aaron Lewis Reacts After Shredded Copy Of His MAGA Album Cover Is Used As Taylor Swift Merch Packaging

Earlier this week, a Taylor Swift fan got a strange surprise while unpacking some of her Toy Story 5 merch. Mixed in with the recycled packing paper was a mysterious shredded image of a bearded man. After a quick Google search, she discovered it was the CD booklet for Aaron Lewis’ forthcoming country album, Give My Country Back, which hasn’t been released yet through UMG.

Noah Kahan Asks Concertgoers Not To Shit In Their Seats

Yesterday Noah Kahan asked his fans to stop stealing his hometown’s road sign, and now he’s asking them to not shit their seats at his shows. Whereas Olivia Rodrigo recently made headlines after discussing concertgoers wearing adult diapers at her concerts in general admission, it seems Kahan’s fans are somehow even worse.

Andy Cohen Claims To Be A Deadhead But Only Just Found Out Phil Lesh Was On Real Housewives In 2008

Andy Cohen is famously a Deadhead — so much so that Dead & Company’s John Mayer once had to clarify that they were not in a romantic relationship — yet somehow he was unaware that a founding member of the beloved band once made a cameo on The Real Housewives Of New York City. It was none other than bassist Phil Lesh, who passed away in 2024. His son Grahame broke the news of the crossover to the Bravo host and went on the show this week to alert the public.

Wilco, Billy Bragg, & Natalie Merchant Performed Mermaid Avenue Live For The First Time At Solid Sound

In 1998, Wilco and Billy Bragg joined forces for Mermaid Avenue, an album of previously unheard lyrics written by the late folk icon Woody Guthrie organized by his daughter Nora. It was followed by a second volume a couple years later, and a third in 2012 as part of the Complete Sessions box set. The project featured additional musicians, such as Natalie Merchant, and last night at Wilco’s Solid Sound festival they performed the LP live for the first time. Wilco and Bragg have done some of the songs together before, but never the full album, as they didn’t tour behind Vol. 1 nor Vol. 2. At the MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA, they played songs from throughout the three volumes out of order. Watch clips below.

Donald Trump’s ’90s Music Festival, Reduced To Just Vanilla Ice, Gets Rained Out

Almost all of the acts scheduled to perform at Donald Trump’s Freedom 250 concert series dropped off the lineup shortly after it was announced last month. Milli Vanilli, Young MC, and C+C Music Factory were among the I Love The ‘90s Tour acts the White House booked (via Jeff Epstein) to celebrate America’s semiquincentennial, but Vanilla Ice was the last of the ‘90s artists standing. However, last night his concert was canceled two hours before showtime due to “inclement weather.”

Miranda Lambert Announces New Album Crisco: Hear “Till The Going’s Gone”

It’s been 21 years since Miranda Lambert released Kerosene, which means she’s been one of our greatest mainstream country stars for a very, very long time. She’s not slowing down. This year, Lambert co-wrote and sang backup on Ella Langley’s gigantic crossover hit “Choosin’ Texas,” and she buried the hatchet with her old adversary Kacey Musgraves in grand fashion on the duet “Horses And Divorces.” Now, she’s ready to release of an album of her own.
