Lily Allen Returns To SNL With “West End Girl” Parody And Dakota Johnson As “Madeline”

Over the past few years Lily Allen has made appearances onstage with Olivia Rodrigo (twice) and with British drum ‘n’ bass DJ Shy FX, but before this weekend, she hadn’t done a solo performance in six years. That changed on last night’s Josh O’Connor-hosted episode of SNL, promoting her new LP West End Girl with performances of album highlights “Sleepwalking” and “Madeline.”

LCD Soundsystem Play “Too Much Love” For The First Time In 14 Years

LCD Soundsystem’s residency at New York’s Knockdown Center has been raging on. Tonight is the end of James Murphy and co.’s 12-night stay, and the past two nights they played “Too Much Love” for the first time in 14 years. The track comes from their beloved 2005 eponymous album. Earlier this year they also did “45:33” for the first time in 14 years. Watch footage of their performance of “Too Much Love” below.

Taylor Swift loves to release different versions of her albums. Her latest album, The Life Of A Showgirl, received multiple deluxe versions: So Punk On The Internet Version, So Glamorous Cabaret Version, etc. Yesterday (Dec. 12), on the pop superstar’s birthday eve (happy birthday Taylor!), she quietly shared a subtly altered edition of her sixth studio LP Reputation via Apple Music.
