Charli XCX’s Team Responds To Sky Ferreira’s Wuthering Heights Accusations

Recently Sky Ferreira has been posting some comments on Instagram implying that Charli XCX’s Wuthering Heights album may have included some old Ferreira demos. The only song on Wuthering Heights that credits Ferreira is “Eyes Of The World,” on which she’s cited as a featured artist and co-writer, but her comments suggested that other songs on the album were originally hers. Ferreira, responding to a fan, also explained how she makes an income despite rarely releasing music: “Your favorite artist records my old songs.”

Sabrina Carpenter Releases “House Tour” Video Starring Margaret Qualley And Madelyn Cline

It’s been a few months since Sabrina Carpenter dropped her last full-length Man’s Best Friend, but it’s not too late for the house tour. Today she released the music video for album highlight “House Tour” in which she stars alongside Margaret Qualley, whose husband Jack Antonoff co-produced and co-wrote the song, and Outer Banks star Madelyn Cline. Carpenter and Qualley also co-directed the video together, which sees the trio — aka the “Pretty Girl Clean-Up Crew” — take a tour of a house that apparently belongs to none of them. Watch it below.

Tool Singer Voices Support For Fired Army Chief, His West Point Prep Teammate

Last Thursday, the Pentagon confirmed that US Army chief of staff Randy George would be suddenly leaving his role after two and a half years. It’s believed that he was fired by Fox News contributor-turned Trump advisor-turned secretary of defense Pete Hegseth, whose reason for ousting George remains unclear, especially as US forces continue waging war with Iran. Since news broke of his forced retirement, George has received praise and sympathy across party lines from veterans, political leaders, and friends. One of those friends just so happens to be Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan.

Sky Ferreira Accuses Charli XCX Of Stealing Her Songs For Wuthering Heights

It’s fun when the elusive Sky Ferreira sings on a song, even when that song apparently is not hers. That happened just a couple of months ago when she teamed up with Charli XCX on “Eyes Of The World,” a track from Charli’s Wuthering Heights album. But in the past few weeks, Ferreira — who’s only released a handful of singles in the past decade — has suggested that her fingerprints are a lot more prominent than we realized.

Pepsi Pulls Wireless Sponsorship Over Kanye West Booking

Last summer the Slovak music festival Rubicon was cancelled on short notice after organizers faced backlash for booking Kanye West as its headliner. In January, the artist now going by Ye issued a contentious apology disavowing his previous alignment with right-wing ideologies and embrace of Nazi rhetoric. He chalked up his abusive and erratic behavior to his bipolar disorder and a previously undiagnosed brain injury, adding that he was now committed to “accountability, treatment, and meaningful change.” Two months later, he dropped his new album BULLY, which is out now.
